Complaint Filing Process

If you are one of our valued customers and wish to file a complaint against Marymont Financial Services or a residential mortgage loan originator, we provide you with a straightforward process to do so. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Complete the complaint form: To initiate the complaint filing process, you will need to complete a complaint form. You can obtain this form by visiting the website of the Texas Savings and Mortgage Lending Department at www.sml.texas.gov Ensure that you fill out the form with relevant and detailed information.

  2. Submit the complaint form: Once you have completed the complaint form, send it to the Texas Savings and Mortgage Lending Department at the following address:

  3. Consumer toll-free hotline: If you have questions or require further assistance in the complaint filing process, you can reach out to our consumer toll-free hotline at 1-877-276-5550. Our representatives will be happy to assist you.

Recovery Fund

The Texas Savings and Mortgage Lending Department maintains a Recovery Fund to aid borrowers in the event they suffer actual damages due to actions of licensed residential mortgage loan originators. If you believe you are entitled to compensation for damages, you must submit a written request for Recovery Fund reimbursement.

Please note that the Department will investigate your claim before any disbursement from the Recovery Fund is made. For more detailed information on the Recovery Fund and the requirements for submitting a request, we recommend visiting the Department’s website at www.sml.texas.gov.
